If you enjoy any specific hobbies, pastimes, sports or interests, we'll try to give you some pointers locally - there are loads of excellent and varied walks in the area, as well as world-renowned salmon and trout fishing beats, mountain-bike trails and idyllic golf courses. Alford is also home of the famous Aberdeen Angus beef, so you're sure to get a choice cut nearby.
We can certainly recommend some of our local whiskies, including Ardmore, Glen Garrioch and Glen Moray. The distilleries are all close by and on the well-established and popular Speyside whisky trail.
