We have kitted out Acorn Bothy with everything we think you'll need for a 'home-from-home'. In fact one of our guests claimed Acorn Bothy had more facilities than their own home!

If you enjoy any specific hobbies, pastimes, sports or interests, we'll try to give you some pointers locally - there are loads of excellent and varied walks in the area, as well as world-renowned salmon and trout fishing beats, mountain-bike trails and idyllic golf courses. Alford is also home of the famous Aberdeen Angus beef, so you're sure to get a choice cut nearby.
We can certainly recommend some of our local whiskies, including Ardmore, Glen Garrioch and Glen Moray. The distilleries are all close by and on the well-established and popular Speyside whisky trail.
